Compleat Food Group Ltd, Tottle Bakery, Dunsil Drive, Queens Drive Industrial Estate, Nottingham, England, NG2 1LU
This promotion is only open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, other group companies, its agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.
Internet access required. No purchase necessary.
One entry per day permitted per person during the promotional period. This promotion is asking for people to ‘sing’ and interpret the pre-existing Wall’s brand line “When Hunger Calls, Grab a Wall’s”. This is a singing competition open to amateur singers who are not currently signed to a record label or earning an income through singing via any method.
Each daily entry made during 09:00 7th November 2024 – 23:00 11th December 2024 will count as one entry into the promotion. Each entry must show a different musical take on the ‘When Hunger Calls, Grab A Wall’s’ brand line. It must be sung in an original way i.e. not copying existing music or melodies in the public domain. The same video cannot be entered more than once.
Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, syndicates, consumer groups, or third parties will not be accepted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is reposting the same content multiple times or using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, or any other automated means, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
The full promotion will run from 09:00 7th November 2024 – 23:00 11th December 2024.
Entries received after this period will not be accepted.
To enter the competition, visit www.grabawalls.co.uk, enter your first name, surname, email address, phone number, and upload your short musical video on the entry form during the promotional period.
Your short musical video (up to 30 seconds in length) needs to show yourself (but can also include others) singing the ‘When Hunger Calls, Grab a Wall’s’ brand line. It must be an original melody but can sound as the entrant creatively wishes.
For group efforts, or where backing vocals are used, the video can only be entered once, via one person. If other members of the group wish to enter, they must produce an original entry. The person who completes the online form and shares their own personal details with us is considered the entrant.
Videos can be uploaded in .MP4 or .MOV format and must be under 200MB file size.
Entrants who do not give correct details or those who make an entry on someone else’s behalf will be disqualified, at the Promoter’s discretion.
Your Competition entry must not contain or comprise items, music, or language which:
We will not accept Competition entries that are:
We reserve the right to disqualify you at any time if:
Incomplete, illegible, invalid or misdirected entries will not be accepted. Proof of sending will not be accepted as proof of delivery. The Promoter takes no responsibility for entries delayed, incomplete, or lost due to technical reasons or otherwise.
The competition winner will win £5,000 (paid via BACS to UK bank account) and will be asked to re-record their singing entry vocal of the Wall’s existing brand line, which will feature in a jingle produced by Wall’s for an upcoming Wall’s radio campaign. One prize available to be won in total.
Once a winner has been verified and confirmed, the winner will be contacted via email to arrange the half-day studio recording of the sung brand line. A music producer will create the jingle, incorporating the winner’s sung brand line.
The studio recording will take place in a London or Cardiff studio. Travel expenses up to the value of £300 will be covered by Wall’s. Travel will be organised via Wall’s and tickets for travel will be supplied to the prize winner.
If the winner resides in what we deem to be a remote location (i.e. The Isle of Wight) effort will be made for a local studio and engineer with remote capabilities.
The bank transfer of £5,000 into the winner’s UK bank account will be carried out once studio recording has taken place. The bank transfer will take place on the next working day after the studio recording. The studio recording and winner payment takes place within 28 days of winner confirmation subject to availability of studio and producer. Any delays will be communicated to the winner.
No cash or other alternative prize will be provided in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize or part of the prize of equal or greater value.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged.
All eligible entries will be entered into the promotion (09:00 7th November 2024 – 23:00 11th December 2024).
One winner will be picked within 7 days of the end of the promotion.
Entries will be judged by a panel which includes: members of the Wall’s marketing team and selected third parties including one judge independent of the promotion.
All valid entries must include a creative, sung expression of the brand line ‘When Hunger Calls, Grab a Wall’s’. The judges will be looking for a combination of elements in the submissions; 20% suitability, 20% entertainment and 60% originality.
Judges decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner will be contacted by email via the email address provided upon entry within 7 days of winner selection. The winner will have 14 days from first contact to confirm acceptance of their prize and show proof of age via email in the form of copy of passport, driving licence or equivalent form of identification that clearly states the winner’s date of birth via reply to the email notification. In the case that they do not respond in time, reject the prize, or are ineligible another winner will be selected using the same methodology as above. The process will repeat for three months after which the prize will be null and void. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their email account during this time in case they are the winner. The prize winner will be requested to provide their county of residence for the purpose of the winners list if no objection is received.
Once valid acceptance confirmation has been given and after the completion of the verification process, a studio date to record the sung line, fit for a radio ad, will be set up with the winner.
The Promoter will make available the prize winner’s surname and county of residence to members of the public or regulators who request such details within 3 months of the closing date of this Promotion.
Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting walls@promotionhandling.com. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. You may request a copy of the winners list by emailing walls@promotionhandling.com. We reserve the right to refuse any or all such requests.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries including but not limited to asking for proof of ID including age (passport, driving licence or equivalent form of identification that clearly states the winner’s date of birth) which they must provide within 14 days and to refuse to award the prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means.
By submitting your Competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:

The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special, or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death, and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter has no control over internet or communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise.
